Hi! I'm Alex.
& here's the heart behind my work.
Welcome. If you're here, there's a good chance you're carrying a lot.
You're the one people count on. The one who keeps things moving. The one managing the schedules, the relationships, the emotions, the responsibilities, and all the things no one else seems to notice.
From the outside, you may look accomplished and like you're handling it well. On the inside, you're exhausted to the bone.
Maybe you're feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, overwhelmed by the mental load, or wondering why your relationships feel harder or less fulfilling than they used to. Maybe you're navigating a major life transition and realizing the version of yourself that got you here isn't the version you want to be moving forward.

Because the ripple effect matters.
When one person learns to communicate differently, set healthier boundaries, trust themselves, or respond instead of react, it doesn't just change their life. It impacts their relationships, their family, and others around them.
Clients appreciate that I make sense of complicated emotional experiences without making therapy feel complicated. My style is warm, collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life.
Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, understand where they came from, and build new ways of showing up that feel more aligned with the life and relationships you want.
Because you can love your people deeply without losing yourself in the process.
And together, we can create what that looks like for you.
This work is personal to me.
Growing up in a divorced family, I experienced how deeply relationships shape the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. It took years for me to understand how those experiences influenced my own relationships and emotional well-being.
What I learned—and what I now help clients discover—is that while we don't get to choose every circumstance that shapes us, we do have a say in what happens next.
That's where therapy comes in.
My goal isn't to help you become someone different. It's to help you reconcile who you are underneath the expectations, responsibilities, old patterns, and survival strategies that no longer fit.
I began my career working with children and families, but I kept finding myself drawn to the people behind the scenes—the adults carrying the emotional weight. The parents trying to hold everything together. The partners feeling disconnected. The people who had become so good at taking care of everyone else that they'd lost touch with what they needed themselves.
Today, I work with adults and couples navigating relationships, parenthood, identity shifts, anxiety, overwhelm, and the complicated reality of being the person who does it all. The reality of being someone who is really important.
